Gilbert Arenas Finally Free… From Playing Basketball
Posted on January 27, 2010
Two weeks after pleading guilty to a felony gun charge, Gilbert Arenas has been suspended for the rest of the season by NBA commissioner David Stern.
Reports suggest Arenas requested a suspension length to last through the end of the season and in exchange would ask the NBA Players' Association not to contest it.
Javaris Crittenton has received the same suspension length for his part in the gun brandishing that took place inside the Washington Wizards locker room in late December.
