Full Video Transcript below:

Richard Shea, International Federation of Competitive Eating co-founder:

"It's a 10 minute hot dog eating contest."

Steve "Pi Guy" Martin:

"The Nathan's qualifier... where the superstars are going to come for a spot to eat on July 4th."

Super Paul Barlow:

"Gravy Brown is awesome. He's number 9 in the world. He's been moving up every year... I believe that was a salute to Mom. I think it was 'Your mom... is wonderful.'"

Shea:

"Coney Island is sort of our Augusta and the mustard yellow belt is sort of our green jacket."

Shea:

    "Begin eating!"

Martin:

"Pi Guy!... By day, I'm a math teacher and you know I've gotta represent the 3.1415 when I'm out eating you know. I knew that guys like Tim "Gravy" Brown. They've got the big game, but it was cool to come out and beat some ranked eaters. And my goal was to beat Super Paul Barlow ranked 44 and I did."

Barlow:

"I did the worst total I've done since the first year I've done this. Unbelievable. 2003. A year that will live in infamy, in my wife's beliefs anyway. I love it. She hates it. We made a deal. I said the day you quit smoking is the day I'll quit eating. I'll probably never quit."

Shea:

"Stop Eating! How about some applause!... and in first place, Gravy Brown! History was made in this parking lot. And they're playing your song, Gravy. Gravy Brown from Chicago, Illinois ate 28 Nathan's hot dogs and buns."

Barlow:

"He's a wonderful man. He loves Georgia. He loves hot dogs and he'll be a great champion."

Shea:

"That means he goes on to compete in July 4, Coney Island."

Martin:

"He'll be there but he won't be number one. Love Gravy Brown though."
