Chris Webber claims Magic Players no longer trust Stan Van Gundy
The man quickly supplanting Charles Barkley as the most quotable former NBA player is at it again...
During his weekly stop on the Petros and Money Show on KLAC in Los Angeles, Chris Webber says some Magic players have lost that loving feeling for their head coach:
"I talked to a couple of Orlando's players and they don't trust Van Gundy anymore. So I think his time there is going to be short. Shaq said it a while ago about him panicking and that's why he left Miami. It was repeated by some of the same players on the Orlando team... It just seems that Stan Van Gundy only gets them to a certain point and I think that the whole team is a lot to blame because they haven't played well but he's definitely part of it as well."
If Van Gundy somehow gets shown the door, which seems highly unlikely, that would mean the teams with the top 3 seeds in the Eastern Conference will have all fired their respective head coaches following the season.
I think it's safe to say that would be some sort of record.
