I'd probably say, "Yeah."...

Jason Taylor's contentious departure from the Miami Dolphins to the New York Jets this past offseason may have never happened if Bill Parcells had decided to step down earlier in the offseason.

That's Taylor's sentiment as told to the Dan LeBatard radio show when asked if he's still a Dolphin if Parcells had reduced his role during the summer:

"I don't know. Who knows? If you had to hold my hand over a fire and say give me answer. I'd probably say, 'Yeah.' But it doesn't surprise me that he stepped down. I don't know what else to say about it. It doesn't suprise me at all.

I don't know why people thought he would hang around the whole time. I, for one, didn't believe he ever would. I really don't know why people believe what he says anyway."
